Halloween is a wonderful tradition at ASFS!
The Halloween costume parade (weather permitting) is followed by parties in the classrooms. The parade route will start and end on Lincoln Street (right outside of school). All are welcome to watch and cheer!
Parent volunteers will be invited to help at class parties by room parents to help with set-up, party activities, and clean up during the party from 2:30-3:30pm. As a reminder, all volunteers are required to complete the volunteer screening process. This process typically takes a few days or longer depending on the volume, so please plan accordingly.
Costumes: No part of the costume should be worn to school. Students should bring their costumes in a bag and all parts of the costume must be able to be put on by the student independently. To keep the event safe and simple, costumes should not include: make-up, hair gel, masks, toy weapons (guns, swords, knives, etc.) lasers, sharp objects, artificial nails, high heels, or scary costumes. Please call or email Ms. Miller or Mr. Sokolove if you have any questions
